Four tabs take you between the Workspace's sections. Two choosers switch catalogue or workspace, and a meter shows how many works you have used. This page shows where each one is.

## The four tabs

The tabs run across the top of every screen of a catalogue and stay in view as you scroll. **All catalogues** has no tabs and no breadcrumb. To leave it, choose a catalogue in the chooser, which opens that catalogue's **Today**.

- **Today** shows what needs doing now. See [What Today shows](/docs/workspace/today/).
- **Catalogue** lists your saved works, and is where you add, find and edit them.
- **Files and responses** is where you prepare a file, record that you sent it, upload the society's response and bring in your registration history.
- **Settings** holds your societies and your publisher details and, for the owner, the workspace's name.

**Agreements** has no tab. Open it with the button of that name on **Catalogue**; the **Catalogue** tab stays selected while you are there.

Choosing the tab you are already on takes you back to that section's own page, for example from an open work.

## Switch catalogue or workspace

![The Catalogue chooser and, beside it, the button Create another catalogue.](/docs/img/workspace/workspace-chooser.png)

Choose a catalogue from the chooser beside the breadcrumb. It lists your catalogues and **All catalogues**. If you are an owner or editor, a **Create another catalogue** button sits beside it. Choosing a catalogue opens its **Today**. Choosing **All catalogues** opens the works from every catalogue together. Deleted works are reached only from there. See [Several catalogues](/docs/workspace/catalogue/several-catalogues) and [History, undo and deleted works](/docs/workspace/catalogue/history).

If your account has two or more workspaces, a **Workspace** chooser sits above the catalogue chooser. With one workspace there is nothing to switch.

## Where you are

![The breadcrumb, reading Example Music Publishing then Today.](/docs/img/workspace/workspace-breadcrumb.png)

The breadcrumb shows where you are. It starts with the catalogue's name, which takes you back to its Today, then the section, then, inside a work, the work's title. Choose an earlier step to go back.

A work opened from Today, the catalogue or a file shows a back button at the top: **Back to Today**, **Back to catalogue** or **Back to submission**. It returns you to where you came from.

## Your works allowance

![The Works meter, showing how many works are saved out of the most the account may hold.](/docs/img/workspace/works-meter.png)

Under the top bar, the **Works** meter shows how many works you have saved and the most your account may hold. The count covers every catalogue in the workspace. Deleted works do not count towards the limit. With several workspaces, the meter belongs to the one chosen in **Workspace**.

When you reach the limit, the badge **Full** appears with a link, **ask for more**. It opens an email to TrackForge asking for more works.

## The top bar and footer

The **Search** button, the **Help for this page** and **Contact support** links and the account button are in the top bar. **Search**, or Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac), opens a box that goes to any section, finds a work, or searches the help: see [Getting help](/docs/workspace/help/). **Help for this page** opens the page of this manual for the part of the Workspace you are in. The account button shows your initials and first name. It opens a menu with **Profile**, **Plan and billing** and **Sign out**: see [Your account](/docs/workspace/account). On a narrow screen the top bar leaves the two links out and the account button shows your initials alone. The footer has **Help and guides**, which opens the front page of these docs, the support link, and links to **Terms** and **Privacy**. Guides and reference pages open in a new tab, so you keep your place. See [Getting help](/docs/workspace/help/).

## If something goes wrong

- **The tabs and choosers are greyed out.** You have unsaved changes, or a save is under way. Save or close what you are working on first.
- **A bar says **A newer version of this page is ready**.** Save your work, then choose **Reload now**. **Later** puts the bar away until you next load the page.
- **No catalogue is open.** Choose one from the catalogue chooser. If the workspace has none yet, an owner or editor can create the first.
