# Registration health

**Registration health** is the second tab. It shows, for the catalogue you have open, where each [society](/docs/cwr/glossary#society) is up to with your works and what each society's own records hold. Every figure on it opens the works behind it in the Catalogue, so the tab is both the picture and the way into the list.

## What you will see

From the top of the screen down:

- **The figures.** Five tiles: **Saved works**, **Needing response review**, **Registered differently**, **No history at a society** and **Not held by a society**. Choose a tile to open those works. A tile at nought opens nothing.
- ****Where each society is up to**.** One row per society, with a bar split by status and one column per status, in the words the Catalogue's status filter uses. Choose a figure, or a part of the bar, to open the Catalogue filtered to that society and that status. See [What the statuses mean](/docs/workspace/catalogue/statuses).
- ****What each society holds**.** One row per society, with a bar split three ways and the figures **Held**, **Not held** and **Not checked**, counted from the newest reading of the society's records, and **How its position is found**. **Not checked** covers works with no reading yet and works the society does not deal in. Choose a figure, or a part of the bar, to open the Catalogue filtered to that society and that **Society position**.

The bars appear once the catalogue holds ten works; below that the figures stand alone.
- ****Add what you know**.** One line per society saying what TrackForge holds for it in this catalogue, in works: sent from here, with a file or reply you brought in, and with a reading of its records. Where something would add to the picture, the line says what and gives the button: **Bring in old files and replies** opens your registration history, **Prepare a file** opens the Catalogue. Only owners and editors see the buttons.
- ****Society responses to review**.** The first responses that need correction or review, with what the society said. Choose a title to open the work. If there are more, **Open Files and responses** lists the rest.
- ****From saved to accepted**.** The chart of one society's works from saved to answered, as on Today, once the catalogue holds ten works.

The line under the title says when the figures were read. Choose the tab again to read them afresh.

## Take it with you

The menu **Registration health…** at the top right offers **Excel summary and full detail** and **PDF summary with charts**. Both are built from the same figures as the tab. The Excel report lists every work and society; the PDF has the tables with a bar per society. See [Upload your registration history](/docs/workspace/files/registration-history).

## Getting here

- The tab **Registration health**, second from the left on every screen of a catalogue.
- On **Today**, **See the full picture** under **Your catalogue in numbers**.
- Step 5 of the **Get set up** card, **See what the societies hold**, whose button reads **See what they hold**. See [Your first file in six steps](/docs/workspace/start-here).

## If something goes wrong

- **Registration health could not be loaded.** Press **Try again**.
- **The tab says the catalogue is too large.** The report covers up to 10,000 works and 200,000 work and society pairs. Make a smaller catalogue to see it.
- **Every society reads Not checked.** No reading of any society's records exists yet. **Add what you know** says what would give one.
